After spending a long weekend in the Swiss Alps it is official Florence is home. I have been here for about 2 weeks and have never loved a place so much. I will admit culture shock is real. I spent my first 2 days tearing-up missing my mom, but by day 3 everything has been smooth sailing. The food is amazing, the wine is delicious (hangovers don't exist), the architecture is beautiful, the language is addictive, and my roommates rock. Choosing to study abroad has by far been the best decision I have ever made in my life.
